SaltWay was founded by Chris McLaren when he identified publishers need to have a comprehensive executive selling operation not just for UK but around the world where there is substantial demand for English language books. With decades of experience and a bulging address book, Chris set up a network of like-minded sales professionals across the world. Murray Mahon, Marketing Director: Marketing, International Rights
Murray Mahon joined SaltWay in 2010; like Chris he has long experience in the publishing industry; he has broad operational skills having run numerous small and medium sized businesses though his preferences lean towards editorial development, marketing and selling rights. Previous experience includes Marketing Director Hunkydory Designs; Marketing Director Aurum Press; Sales & Marketing Director Letts Publishing/Berlitz

Carol Farley, Publicity Director: Publicity & PR
Carol Farley became part of the team in 2011 bringing her publicity and marketing skills into the equation; for SaltWay clients, Carol offers a range of options and tariffs, from entry to the Farley List, which Carol set up to feed special interest titles into journalists with particular subject agendas, to full-blown publicity campaigns. Founder of The Farley Book List, an affordable way of publicising books to key, named journalists in national & regional newspapers, magazines and other media, Carol is a creative, sales-oriented publicity professional and an expert in promoting special interest books.
